VERBAL SPONTANEOUS PRACTICE

PARTS ARE PARTS

READ:

1.  You will have 2 minutes to think and 4 minutes to respond. You may not talk to each other at any time.

2.  For each creative answer you will receive 5 points and for each common response you will receive 1 point.

3.  You are given 7 cards .   When you give an answer you will put a card in the container provided.  A number is placed in front of you.  That is your assigned number. You must go in order.

4.  You may continue until all your cards are used or until time is called. You may not skip your turn, or repeat, or pass.  If one team member is stuck, the team is stuck.

5.  You may ask questions but it will count as a part of your think time.

6.  Once time begins, it will not be stopped.  If you are asked to repeat a response, or to clarify it, or to give a more appropriate response, time will continue.  Speak loudly and clearly.

6.  Your problem is:

Name as many “Parts” as you can.”  Example: A part of the car includes the door.

REPEAT:

Your problem is:

Name as many “Parts” as you can.” Example: A part of the car includes the door.
