Registration Deadline Approaching

January 20th is the early deadline to register your team(s) for Regional Competition. The registration fee is $30, but goes up after the January 20th deadline. Late registration end on January 26. To register do the following:

(1) Register online at: www.odysseyofthemind.com

(2) Go to Member area and complete information.

(3) Save login and password since you will need it for state and world registration.

(4) Print confirmation and have it signed by the administrator or director in AAA area.

(5) Have judges and volunteers complete forms (attachments for forms are below)

(6) Send it to the Regional Director noted on the form with payment no later than January 27, 2012.

(7) Regional competition is March 3 and State competition is March 31.

ARKANSAS TEAMS DO GREAT AT 2011 WORLD FINALS!!

Creativity In Arkansas/Arkansas Odyssey of the Mind sent 31 teams to World Finals in May 2011 at the University of Maryland College Park. Twenty-one of those teams scored in the top 25 worldwide out of as many as 60 teams in their division.  Great job teams, coaches and Arkansas judges that picked the best to represent us.

Interesting to note:
AR Problem 3 Div. 2 teams were 11th and 12th.
AR Problem 3 Div. 3 teams were 14th and 15th
Both AR Problem 5 Div. 1 teams were 15th
AR Problem 4 Div. 2 teams were 18th and 19th
Both Problem 2 Div. 1 teams were 20th

This shows that Arkansas teams worked hard, teams improved and that judges did a great job at region and state.  It also shows how successful we are in sending the top 2 teams in each division!
